30 partners from local authorities and housing associations participate in a packed workshop on How to Accelerate Housing Delivery across South Essex.

Yesterday we were really pleased to see over 30 partners from local authorities and housing associations participate in a packed workshop on How to Accelerate Housing Delivery across South Essex. Over the next 5 years the Association of South Essex Councils ( ASELA) and its partners have an ambition to increase housing to 4500 homes per year.
The workshop was the start of a conversation between partners on how they can deliver more and faster if they do it together. Speakers included Shona Johnstone from Homes England and the Director of Development Frank Klepping from Swan HA.
The workshop got off to a rousing start with Mary Gibbons Chief Executive of CHP HA setting out why partnerships are the bedrock of successful communities and how we need to build together to make places where people want to live and thrive.
