Essex Housing Awards 2022 to culminate in awards ceremony

The Essex Housing Awards 2022, in association with Birketts, is counting down to its awards ceremony next month.

The Awards, which recognise high-quality developments, services and or individuals from the public, private and voluntary sector and promote best practice across the county, will culminate in a glittering Awards Ceremony at Greenwoods Hotel in Ingatestone on 3 November.

The evening will be compered by BBC Home Editor Mark, with the awards being presented by some of the supporters of the event.

This year there were 12 categories open to entry, including:

  • Climate Action
  • Construction Skills
  • Building Garden Communities
  • Excellence in Design
  • Excellence in Development (Small)
  • Excellence in Development (Medium)
  • Excellence in Development (Large)
  • Housing Professional of the Year
  • Meeting Housing Need
  • Supporting COVID-19 Recovery
  • Working in Partnership

Associate Partner Birketts, one of the top UK law firms, based in Chelmsford will be presenting the Working in Partnership Award.

Scrutton Bland, a medium sized tax and accountancy business in Essex, operating and focused upon a number of key sectors and specialisms including land and property and construction will be presenting the Climate Action award.

 CHP is a local charitable housing association based in Chelmsford, Essex and will be presenting the award for the Meeting Housing Need category winners.
